Always Questioning is a creators collaborative and a media and publishing imprint. It lists real, quality work, independently released or traditionally published, and sends people straight to where the maker sells it. It takes no cut of those sales and claims no maker's rights.
It is deliberately not a mass marketplace and not a feed. Nothing is chosen for you by an algorithm; the work is shown the way its creator meant it, and the catalog is an objective index you browse by type, by title, or by creator. The collaborative funds itself by licensing its own and partner intellectual property and by a share of its own store, so being listed stays free.
The through-line is one idea: someone has to ask. The work gathers around questions worth chasing in public, where the answer still costs something.
Six ways to take part, from reading to building: Reader, Member, Resident, Contributor, Collaborator, and Creator. The full deal, the money, and the Creators Code are laid out plainly, with nothing hidden.
A small group of creators, hosts, and contributors build and steer the work. The editorial groups behind individual publications stay anonymous by design, while named creators front the work they own. It was founded by Thomas Tornatore.
